The Company's claims teams are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist Insured's who suffer the misfortune of one of the many perils covered by our policies.
Marine Claims
The hull claims department deals with incidents of damage to insured vessels and their equipment as well as third party property claims.
Our hull claims handling philosophy includes:
- Early appointment of local surveyor/lawyer/technical consultant.
- Staff attendance where appropriate.
- Claims dealt with as expediently as possible to minimise delays to Insureds.
What to do in an emergency
Should an incident occur which may result in a claim for damage to the insured vessel or third party property please inform us or your insurance broker as soon as possible and we will instruct the appropriate people to assist you immediately.
Take whatever measures that are reasonable to avoid further damage without putting yourself or others at risk.
Any expenses incurred in mitigating or averting a loss that would be covered by your policy should be recoverable as part of your claim.

Aquaculture Claims
Aquaculture claims are administered directly from Head Office in the UK via an extensive network of branch offices and specialist adjusters.
The Company's knowledgeable, efficient and dedicated claims service is designed first and foremost to render assistance to clients providing swift and sympathetic management of any loss situation.

Our aquaculture claims handling philosophy includes:
- Assistance in the recovery from third parties of insured and uninsured losses.
- Risk Management involvement in claims to assist clients with loss limitation techniques. The application and improvement of these techniques may continue long after the loss has concluded.
- Site visits by claims personnel at all relevant stages in the development of a loss including a debriefing session following conclusion of the claim in conjunction with our risk management surveyors.
